Understanding British Army Sizing

British military trousers use a highly accurate three-number sizing system in centimeters (cm), formatted as: Leg / Waist / Seat (e.g., 80 / 88 / 104).

1. Leg (First Number): This is your inside leg measurement.

   • 72 = Very Short | 75 = Short | 80 = Regular | 85 = Long | 90 = Extra Long.

2. Waist (Second Number): Your actual waist measurement around the navel. These typically scale in precise 4cm increments (ranging from 68cm up to 112cm+).

3. Seat (Third Number): The hip measurement. This scales automatically with the waist size and can be completely disregarded when choosing your size.
